COMMITTED WAS AN AWSOME SHOW I USED TO WAIT FOR IT TO COME ON EVERY WEEK YOU GUYS AT NBC SUCK
I was so looking forward to another season of American Dreams (2005 - 2006) I really think NBC needs to reconsider putting this quality show back on the air. There are way to many reality shows being aired in it's place, this would have been an opportunity for NBC to really shine as a network. I think NBC has really missed a golden opportunity, the show taught history of the 1960's.
AMERICAN DREAMS WAS A GREAT SHOW. MY KIDS, AGES 13, 7 & 16 ALL WATCHED IT AND GOT A HISTORY LESSON AT THE SAME TIME. WE WISH IT WASN'T CANCELLED. IN TODAYS DAY AND AGE, PEOPLE NEED A SHOW, A TRULY GOOD SHOW, WHERE THE MAIN CHARACTERS HAVE REALLY GOOD QUALITIES ABOUT THEM.
Committed was a great show!!! it just goes to show that NBC doesnt know what the hell its doing.
I LOVED watching American Dreams every Sunday night. It was a great show. Why did you cancel it? I've heard a lot of fellow viewers talk about it and look forward to a new season.
I loved American Dreams and never missed it. Sunday night was a perfect time slot and easy to remember. It is also a time when you are gearing up for the week to come and want to sit down to a little TV. This show was entertaining, had some really good acting in it, was thought provoking and actually addressed history instead of showcasing the ridiculous lengths some stupid people will go to on TV for a buck! Bring back this quality show. Let us have some escapism from everyday lunacy!!

I am soooo disappointed that American Dreams was canceled. I just found out and don't even want to tell my 18-year-old daughter. She too will be devasted. What next...another reality show? American Dreams was a great show with a great cast. It will be sorely missed! Please reconsider this!!!!!
very sorry to see this show cancelled. I really was looking forward to a new season. It showed so many different side to so many issues. I really wish it was coming back on. I want to know what happens to these people.
sad. the favorite in our house, American Dreams, was not renewed. what a great show - full of emotion and nostalgia...yet connecting well to today's issues - helping many remember Vietman, to then question why are we in Iraq? NBC screwed up - bring back American Dreams!
it's mid october and i've been looking for amercan dreams, thinking it would be on in the fall.what a dissapointment by nbc.this was a family show sure to be edged in the minds of the faithful viewers..please bring it back!!!!!!!!!! terry
What is wrong with NBC - where is American Dreams - my children are wanting to watch this quality program - please bring it back!
Just found out the sad news,and to replace this with another Quality Show like Martha Stewart, give us a break guys, I guess they were due to screw up. They had a long record of really good shows, E.R., West Wing, Law & Order, Friends, and the list goes on. Great music, a history lesson for the younger generations, a real reality show for those of us who grew up during those times. My kids enjoyed the show by seeing current musical pop stars and the people in musical history which they potrayed. Those were my American Dreams just like they were the dreams of alot of other Americans.

It's no wonder NBC is in 4th place, they continue to remove quality programming like American Dreams from their lineup...too bad, I learned alot from this program and would hope that the younger generations would as well since our education system is pathetic...
