Costume Party
Costume Party A couple was invited to a swanky costume Party. Shegot a terrible headache and told her husband to go tothe party alone. He being a devoted husband protested, but she argued and said she was going to take someaspirin and go to bed, and there was no need of hisgood time being spoiled by not going. So he took his costume and away he went. The wife, after sleeping soundly for about an hour, awakenedwithout pain and, as it was still early, decided to gothe party. Since her husband did not know what her costu me was,she thought she would have some fun by watching herhusband to see how he acted when she was not with him. She joined the party and soon spotted her husbandcavorting around on the dance floor, dancing withevery nice chick he could, and copping a little feelhere and a little kiss there. His wife sidled up tohim and being a rather seductive babe herself, he lefthis current partner high and dry and devoted histime to the new babe that had just arrived. She lethim go as far as he wished , naturally, since he washer husband. Finally, he whispered a little proposition in her earand she agreed, so off they went to one of the carsand had a little bang. Just before unmasking atmidnight, she slipped away, went home, put the costumeaway and got into bed, wondering what kind ofexplanation he would make for his behavior. She was sitting up reading when he came in, and sheasked what kind of a time he had. He said: '- Oh, thesame old thing. You know I never have a good time whenyou're not there.' - 'Did you dance much?' - 'I'll tell you, I never even danced one dance. WhenI got there, I met Pete, Bill Brown and some otherguys, so we went into the den and played poker allevening. But you're not going to believe what happenedto the guy I loaned my costume to.. .....

Energy effecient windows
Last year I replaced all the windows in my house with those expensive, double-pane energy-efficient kind.
Sick Leave;
Sick Leave;
I urgently needed a few days off work,
but, I knew the Boss would not allow me to take leave.
I thought that maybe if I acted "Crazy"
then he would tell me to take a few days off.
So, I hung upside-down on the ceiling and made funny noises.
My co-worker (who's blonde) asked me what I was doing.
I told her that I was pretending to be a light bulb
so that the Boss might think I was "Crazy" and give me a few days off.
A few minutes later the Boss came into the office and asked,
"What in the name of good GOD are you doing?"
I told him I was a light bulb.
He said, "You are clearly stressed out.
Go home and recuperate for a couple of days."
I jumped down and walked out of the office...
When my co-worker (the blonde) followed me, the Boss asked her,
"..And where do you think you're going?!"
(You're gonna love this....)
She said, "I'm going home, too. I can't work in the dark

Stores that sells new love
You may visit this store ONLY ONCE! There are six floors and the value of the products increase as the shopper ascends the flights. The shopper may choose any item from a particular floor, or may choose to go up to the next floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building!
So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband. On the first floor the sign on the door reads:
Floor 1 - These men Have Jobs.
She is intrigued, but continues to the second floor, where the sign reads:
Floor 2 - These men Have Jobs and Love Kids.
"That's nice", she thinks, "but I want more."
So she continues upward. The third floor sign reads:
Floor 3 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, and are Extremely Good Looking.
"Wow," she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going.
She goes to the fourth floor and the sign reads:
Floor 4 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Good Looking and Help With Housework.
"Oh, mercy me!" she exclaims, "I can hardly stand it!"
Still, she goes to the fifth floor and the sign reads:
Floor 5 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Gorgeous, Help with Housework, and Have a Strong Romantic Streak.
She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor, where the sign reads:
Floor 6 - You are visitor 31,456,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please. Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store.
PLEASE NOTE:
To avoid gender bias charges, the store's owner opened a New Wives store just across the street.
The first floor has wives that love sex.
The second floor has wives that love sex and have money.
The third, fourth, fifth and sixth floors have never been visited.

Curb Your Enthusiasm - Wikipedia, the free
encyclopedia: "Curb Your Enthusiasm is an American sitcom starring Seinfeld writer, co-creator, and executive producer Larry David as himself. Since its 2000 series debut, the HBO show has enjoyed wide critical acclaim and a steadily growing, dedicated audience that has helped it emerge from its early cult status. Through 2004, it has been nominated for twenty Emmy Awards (winning one) and has won a Golden Globe for best television comedy (2003). It is the fifth highest rated TV show on metacritic.com. Fans often refer to the show as Curb. The series was inspired by a 1999 one-hour mockumentary titled Larry David: Curb Your Enthusiasm, which David and HBO had originally envisioned as a one-time project. Season 6 premiered on September 9th, 2007"

. HIDDEN CITY:
One way to get a different perspective on any city is to see it through
the eyes of people who have disabilities. What's it like to get around
if you need a wheelchair, if you're blind, or if you suffer from mental
illness? What kind of help is available, from sidewalk ramps and
"singing traffic signals" to clinics and support services? This week on
Hidden City, host Nick Purdon looks at the disabled city. Head out with
him - and see the city in a whole new way. That's on Hidden City,

O Canada - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
O Canada! Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!
From far and wide, O Canada,
We stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land
Glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee;
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
"Weir's lyrics have three additional verses, but these are rarely sung.
O Canada! Where pines and maples grow,
Great prairies spread and Lordly rivers flow!
How dear to us thy broad domain,
From East to Western sea!
The land of hope for all who toil,
The true North strong and free!
God keep our land, glorious and free.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee!
O Canada! Beneath thy shining skies,
May Stalwart sons, and gentle maidens rise.
To keep thee steadfast thro' the years,
From East to Western sea.
Our own beloved native land,
Our true North strong and free!
God keep our land, glorious and free.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee!
Ruler supreme, who hearest humble prayer,
Hold our Dominion, in thy loving care.
Help us to find, O God, in thee,
A lasting rich reward.
As waiting for the better day,
We ever stand on guard.
God keep our land, glorious and free.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee!"

National Aboriginal Day - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The day of June 21 was selected for several reasons. In 1982 the National Indian Brotherhood (now the Assembly of First Nations) called for the creation of a National Aboriginal Solidarity Day to be celebrated on June 21. Slightly more than a decade later in 1995, the Royal Commission on Aboriginal Peoples recommended that a National First Peoples Day be designated. Also in that same year a national conference of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people chaired by Elijah Harper titled The Sacred Assembly called for a national holiday to celebrate the contributions of Aboriginal peoples to Canada. Lastly, June 21 coincides with the summer solstice."
