City of Toronto: Transportation Services - Snow management: "Following a snow storm, we move immediately into snow clean-up. Bus stop areas are cleared. Pathways are dug at crosswalks and crossovers. Sidewalks flanking arterial and collector roads are cleared and when necessary, the snow, which has been ploughed to the roadside, is removed."
