I will miss you American Dreams and Committed [NBC]
Martha Makes Over NBC Sked - Yahoo! News: "Missing from the network's roster of returning shows: American Dreams, Revelations, The Contender, Committed, Medical Investigation and, in a bit of a shocker, ber-producer Wolf's fourth Law & Order series, Trial by Jury. "

NBC - THE OFFICE and SCRUBS
Chastened NBC aiming for 8 p.m. rally - Yahoo! News: "Another ratings-starved returning comedy, 'Scrubs,' received a full-season order but is holding for a midseason berth. Unscripted veteran 'Fear Factor' is expected back Tuesdays at 8 p.m. after returning reality hit 'The Biggest Loser' ends its summer run, perhaps in time to face Fox's 'American Idol.'
Although NBC Entertainment president Kevin Reilly indicated that he remains bullish on the comedy genre, only one of three new half-hours will join the schedule in the fall, when 'My Name Is Earl' will be paired with returning comedy 'The Office' Tuesdays from 9-10 p.m. The other pickups, 'Four Kings' and 'Thick and Thin,' still await time slots."

CBC Radio announces summer schedule (I Love Radio .org)
Beginning June 27, Radio One and Radio Two will launch fifteen new programs. We’ll also bring back some of the favourite shows from last summer and our best programming from the regular season. The tone will be just right for warmth and sunshine - light and playful. The programs will come from a myriad of locations across the country, some of them from locations (like Charlottetown and Salt Spring Island) that don't usually appear on the network.

Tired and thirsty.
Three students are leaving their last classes of the day.
The law student is thinking, "I'm tired and thirsty. I must have coffee."
The engineering student is thinking, "I'm tired and thirsty. I must have beer."
The medical student is thinking, "I'm tired and thirsty. I must have diabetes."

Things Overheard at a Wal-Mart Wedding
15. Sorry, the flower truck is running late this morning. However,
we did manage to pull some garnish out of the vegetable cooler to
spiff things up a bit.
14> Yes, the lady in jewelry says it's certified 10 carat cubic Zirconia.
13> Yeah, I figured during the wedding I'd take advantage of the 15
minute $12.95 oil change special. Plus, my cousins can't trash the
car while it's up on the rack.
12> I need a member of management to hardware to act as best man, please.
11>"Tradition or not, buddy, you broke that glass and you're gonna pay for it."
10> We're out of napkins. Can someone run back to the paper
products isle and pick up some paper towels?
9> "Pre-nup in aisle seven!"
8> I just checked the registry list. We're in luck. The lawn
mower is still on there and the guy in Lawn and Garden says it's on
sale through tomorrow.
7> Why wouldn't her smock qualify as "something blue?" And it offers
such a nice contrast to her white dress.
6> We need to hurry the reception line along here, it's about shift
change time for the Official Wal Mart Greeter.
5> "If that creepy yellow smiley face comes by one more time, I
swear I'm going over to sporting goods to buy some ammo."
4> "I'm sorry, miss, but shoplifting an iPod does not qualify as
your 'something borrowed.'"
3> "Great -- we finally get the entire wedding party crammed into
the photo machine, and Bubba runs out of quarters!"
2> No, it's just that I've never seen a tux done in Real-Tree cammo. Awesome.

HEAVEN INSURANCE POLICY
Three nurses went to heaven, and were awaiting their turn with St. Peter to plead their case to enter the pearly gates.
The first nurse said, "I worked in an emergency room. We tried our best to help patients, even though occasionally we did lose one. I think I deserve to go to heaven."
St. Peter looks at her file and admits her to heaven.
The second nurse says, "I worked in an operating room. It's a very high stress environment and we do our best. Sometimes the patients are too sick and we lose them, but overall we try very hard."
St. Peter looks at her file and admits her to heaven.
The third nurse says, "I was a case manager for an HMO."
St. Peter looks at her file. He pulls out a calculator and starts punching away at it furiously, constantly going back to the nurse's file. After a few minutes St. Peter looks up, smiles, and says, "Congratulations! You've been admitted to heaven ...for five days!"

"Life Bloored, I Duct taped a camera to my electric wheelchair, a very fast drive
My name is Adam Cohoon I am 24 years old. I moved to Toronto around five years ago. I live on Bloor Street in the Annex. I was born with cerebral palsy. I use an electric wheelchair to get around the city.
My short video is a sped up trip of my favourite strolling route through my neighbourhood. The route goes from my apartment building along Bloor to Bathurst then back along the other side of Bloor Street. All at an accelerated speed to turn a half an hour journey into a video of just a few minutes.
The video captures the route from my view I enjoy this route but the neighbourhood is not totally wheelchair accessible there some shops that has steps in order to get into them. Some of the curbs in the neighbourhood are steep too.
The video is also about how this neighbourhood has really influenced my love of the arts, whether it is visual, music, film or video. I have really come to enjoy them. I am constantly exposed to them right in my area and just grew to really appreciate them.
In the video I also add my sense of humour. Throughout"
